Smt. C.C. Mahlia Arts and Sheth C.N. Commerce College is managed by "Shree Maharshi Dayanand Saraswati Kelavani Mandal” that has been rendering a missionary services in the field of education and social commitment in the area for the last fifty four years. At that time, the college was affiliated with S.N.D.T. University. Mumbai as only for women in 1964. Then Sheth C.N. Commerce College was established in 1969 as the first college of Mehsana district. Both the colleges were affiliated with Gujarat University Ahmedabad in 1983. Then in 1987. both the colleges have obtained affiliation with Hemchandracharya North Gujarat University. Patan. The college offers B.A. and M.A. (Gujarati & History). B.Com and M. Corn Gujarati & English Medium (Accountancy). At present total strength college students have reached up to 1744 in Academic year 2023-24.

In educational development, career development provides a person, often a student, focus for selecting a career or subject(s) to undertake in the future. Our institution provide career counsellors to assist students with their educational development.

We strive to provide an environment that is basically sacred, and has a framework of discipline that is flexible yet supportive, a freedom that allows students to learn even from their mistakes, to develop into person moulded by the correlatives of freedom and responsibility.
The lecturer’s approach the classroom as one does a temple. Teacher-student relationships take time to develop and deepen and need a climate of love and trust. There must also be continuity between lecturer and students both within the classroom and in the wider college environment.
Our distinctive academic programmmes and innovative teaching methodologies encourage students to develop critical-thinking and learn through enquiry and reason, to exchange thoughts and ideas, to develop key personal and social values, to take ownership for his/ her choices and to set goals to realize their own unique potential.
